I'M PREMIUM BABY!

So my amazingly awesome cousin donated a premium membership to me, she's probably the person most supportive of my art goals and is generally fantastic xD thanks cuz! So i'm get to mess around with cool premium membership things and not have to worry about thous massively annoying ads that will suddenly start talking to you. I'm so happy >w< in addiction i just got my first laptop, which i must bring to school (and never let out of my sight) so i can work on my anime. I get tons of cool stuff today >w< and the one thing i was supposed to get but didn't need to, a shot at the doctor's office! yay! i'm healthy!

XD okey, as fun as it would be to rant on about my awesome cousin for a whole journal i feel like i should try trying a bigger variety of stuff, tho i will be your art slave for awhile so that counts for something

Anyway, so my anime, i mentioned it, do you remember it? I am officially making an anime (or atleast an animack) for my senior project this year. I'm making what i hope will be a full 20min anime ep depicting the start of a story i made and may or may not continue in either anime or manga form later.  I have about an hour and a half to work on it during school and then of course i can do stuff at home too. I'm about to have my full storyboard completed and am working on the main keyframes. Soon i'll be able to have enough to post to give you an idea of what's going on with that. I get to decide around december-january if i'll only be making an animack for the school half of this project, but i'll still try to make the full animated awesomeness of it later on. I have a LOT of trouble describing the plot, because it's so complex in my head so when i boil it down to it's simplest form it doesn't sound like my story at all... the simplest description is, it's about a rebel group taking down a jerk government, a slightly longer explanation is its about a girl who was predicted by a fortune teller to do nothing important with her life but who gets wrapped up in a rebil group and ends up helping free her country... even longer it's about- Izzy, a girl who was told from birth because of some fortune tellers prediction that she would do nothing important with her life but who winds up finding her countries long lost defender, Cassius who convinces her to join her in helping free the country. Cassius is immortal but is rather bad at dealing with people and situations, they end up not doing so well as rebels and along with others they met, they go to try and beat the enemy country in it's homeland, which is a really bad idea. In general it's more centered around irony and the idea that destiny sucks and should be ignored... and even setting wise it kind of changes alot, trying to focus on what the people are going through rather then the place...... so in that way it's a bit of a journey kind of anime... but on the whole i'm trying to loose alot of the elements of anime that annoy me, i have weird stuff like elves, people with animal ears and magic but i also am drawing from different world cultures (izzy's home country is greek-rome-italy, while the invading nation is eighteenth century england steampunk style... and i really need to name these places). My anime characters eat, hurt themselves if they fall from high heights and need to eat semi frequently. People only have weird hair colors if they dyed it (except cassius who got it when he turned immortal), girls don't need to always dress skimpy (but they can sometimes), people's hair only spikes up as much as gravity will allow with a normal amount of hair gel optional, eyes only take up a slightly larger proportion then there supposed to, people have noses and they are diffrent sizes and shapes, proportion in generaL is there and only slightly altered, and enemies don't constantly get stronger as if going through a pokemon game. I love anime really, but when i get right down and think about it there are alot of things that annoy me about it...

So, other things, well, i will HOPEFULLY be getting a table at katsucon. i don't know, they haven't gotten back to me saying yes, saying no, saying i saw your application and am thinking about it... i got nothing... i really want this to work. I read after i put it in that i needed to put the name my assistant (other person at the table with me) but i didn't see where that would have gone on the application so hopefully that won't hurt me. It also says the table owner has to be over 18 (i'm only 17) and tho it didn't ask my age, if that comes up it's okey because my friend Crimson is being my assistant adn she's 18! And if youve herd me talk about this before, you got it right, i'm not longer doing it with my friends, it's just me. Crimson will be helping out and if my bud suku wants to put some art up for it i'm okay with it but really, it's my table... i have some works i havn't posted that i would be selling and a lot that i have posted will be there to (you should buy from me). The application didn't mention commissions in the "what are ytou selling" section and it didn't occur to me to type it in the box for "other things being sold" so hopefully i can sell commissions but if it proves to be a problem i can give it up. I would be doing 20$ digital portrait commissions and some 5$ b/w sketch commissions... maybe color... maybe.... but for now i just need to wait to see if i even should be worrying about this or if it's all for nothing cuz they don't like me enough to let me sell...

let's see... anything else... i'm working on alot of stuff right now studio art projects, vexville, my anime, ceramic projects, IB art and design stuff, and trying to make plushies... so there will probably be alot being posted soon xD having 5 art classes rocks!
